Sleepy Jack FAQ (Android)

Q. I’ve purchased Sleepy Jack, and there is a pop-up that say’s “no purchase found.”  What should I do?
A: This could be due to several possible problems:

• Do you have the latest Android Market App?

Your Android Market version may be too old. You need at least 3.3.11:

• Check your Android Market version: On your device, Go to Settings > Application > Manage Application. Then choose “Market”.
• Update your Android Market version: On your device, from the Home screen, open the Market app > After it launches, press the Home button > Wait for 10-15 minutes; Market will update. Re-start Sleepy Jack and enjoy!

• If that doesn’t work, try to delete Save Data from the Android Market App:

• Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Android Market > Clear Data

Q. What’s the minimum needed to play Sleepy Jack?
A: Android 2.2, ARMv7 CPU, OpenGL ES 2.0.

Q. I can find Sleepy Jack on the Android Market via my PC, but not via my mobile device. Why?
A: Sorry, your mobile device can’t run Sleepy Jack. That’s why it’s not appearing.

Q. I got weird graphics! Can I bring the beauty back?
A: Yes. Please:

1. Put the device to sleep (press the “Power” button).
2. Wake it up (press the “Power” button again).
3. Unlock the device.
4. Resume gameplay.

Q. My device can’t download or install Sleepy Jack.
A: Your device has a bug(s) preventing it from handling large APKs, such as Sleepy Jack. We can’t fix, and can only offer possible work-arounds. WARNING: They are unofficial and unsupported. Use at your own risk. If you wish to go this route, try the work-around at the top of the list, then go down if necessary.

• Work-around.
  • Go to Settings > Storage.
  • Unmount SD card.
  • Install Sleepy Jack.
  • Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Clear Data, Clear Cache
  • You may wish to re-mount the SD card at this time.
• Work-around.
  • Delete Sleepy Jack save data.
  • Reboot your phone.
  • Re-install Sleepy Jack from Android Market.
• Work-around.
  • Go to /data folder.
  • Delete the com.silvertree.sleepyjack folder.
  • Launch Sleepy Jack.
• Work-around.
  • Delete Sleepy Jacksave data.
  • Uninstall old version of Sleepy Jack.
  • Get Sleepy Jack game file (APK) from somewhere on the web on PC. Warning: This isn’t the official way, and unofficial APKs may be hacked, or contain other maliciousness.
  • Copy the APK on an SD card.
  • Install Sleepy Jack APK from SD card using an installer such as EasyInstaller.
• Work-around.
  • Delete Sleepy Jacksave data.
  • Uninstall Sleepy Jack.
  • Get Sleepy Jack game file (APK) from somewhere on the web on PC. Warning: This isn’t the official way, and unofficial APKs may be hacked, or contain other maliciousness.
  • Install Sleepy Jack from PC onto your device, using an app such as MyPhoneExplorer Client.
• Work-around.
  • Factory-reset the phone. Warning: Will wipe all data, apps, OTAs, e-mail, everything.
  • Install Sleepy Jack.

Q. Sleepy Jack crashed on my device. Anything you can do?
A: There are some unofficial and unsupported user-reported fixes. Use at your own risk!

• Move Sleepy Jack from the SD card to the device itself. Try playing. If it crashes, move Sleepy Jack back to SD card.

• Delete the com.silvertree.sleepyjack folder from /data.

Q. I have an HTC Sensation, running the 2.3.4 update. Is something awry?
A: Yes. HTC has told us their 2.3.4 update has a bug. It causes problems with multiple apps. They will be releasing a fix. This may not have been communicated to HTC support.

Q. I love this game and want to tell the developers! How do I do that?
A: “Like” Sleepy Jack’s Facebook page then rate Sleepy Jack 5 stars on the Android Market! Kids love that kind of approval.Q: My question wasn’t answered, how do I get help?
